Lois Jada

I am an emerging writer from Greater Manchester, currently based in North West England, where I am undertaking a degree in Creative Writing at University. I write both poetry and fiction, mostly favouring prose, but I will read anything I can get my hands on. My favourite genres to read are psycological, literary and historical fiction, and you're welcome to look at my reading list which is updated semianually, and displays my favourite reads from the months previous. My writing explores a variety of themes, commonly focusing on the human experience, the relationship between humans and nature, and social injustice. I often aim to explore what it means to be mortal, or simply human, and the ways in which this shifts over time. I also enjoy photography, mostly capturing landscapes and finding the beauty in nature wherever I can, which often inspires my work.
